The goal of this game is to chug your beer so you can use it as a land mine. Each person takes turn spinning a quarter and must avoid any empty beer cans that have become a landmine.
What You Need:
A lot of Beer (shot glasses optional)
One Large Table
4 Players or more
How To Play:
On a large empty table the first player starts out by spinning the quarter.
Using the hand the quarter was spun with, the spinner must grab their beer, open it and drink as much as they can before the quarter stops spinning.
When someone is done drinking (you don't have to drink the whole beer but you want to) and successfully picks the quarter up before it stops spinning. They must pass it to the next person.
When you finish a can of beer during the game you get to hold onto it until you are ready to make it a landmine.
To create a landmine, anyone who has an empty can at any point during the game. Can smash it onto another player's spinning quarter.
This now makes the beer can a land mine!
Take the quarter out from under the can and leave the can there so it becomes an obstacle for someone trying to spin their quarter.
Each turn a player gets 3 chances to chug their beer and snatch the quarter.
If the quarter is grabbed successfully then the quarter is passed to the next player
You must spin, drink, grab and pass the quarter with same hand. If you break this rule it is an unsuccessful attempt and you must spin again and drink.
After breaking this rule three times you must chug the rest of your beer and give the empty can and the quarter to the next player.
If the quarter stops spinning or falls off of the table. That is an unsuccessful attempt and you must try again.
When the quarter hits a Land Mine it is an unsuccessful attempt. Stop chugging and try again unless you must pass it on to the next player.
If someone slams your spinning quarter with their empty can it is an unsuccessful attempt and you must get to drankin'.
How Do You Win:
Like with many drinking games there really isn't a winner. With Land Mines though you have several options.
There is no end game until it is impossible for anyone to spin the quarter on the table.
However, you can make the person with the most land mines the winner.
Or you can make the person who still has the most unused land mines the winner which really makes the game interesting.
Or just play and whoever quits first is the loser. Totally up to you!
