The Simple Yet Classic Drinking Game Rules for Quarters
The drinking game Quarters is definitely an original you may have already heard of. However we rarely see anyone play it and it so much fun! Players take turns trying to get a quarter into a glass and choose who gets to drink when they do. There are many versions to Quarters though so here we go over the basic drinking game rules for Quarters.
What You Need:
1 or more Quarters
2 or more Players minimum
Glass Cups are most fun (preferably one cup for each person)
A table that will bounce Quarters
How To Play:
Gather players around your table and determine who will go first.
Since it is a game of Quarters you can take turns flipping coins to decide who will start.
The game begins with the first player getting a chance to bounce their quarter into their glass.
If playing with 1 glass decide as a group what your beverage will be.
If playing with a glass for each person, beverages are decided by the owner of that glass.
Turns go counter-clockwise with each person only getting 1 turn to try and bounce.
When you successfully bounce a quarter into your drink, you get to decide who has to take a drink.
Cups must be at least 10 inches away from the edge of the table when bouncing.
Every turn a player gets, players have a chance to call "Chance!" after their first unsuccessful bounce.
Player's must call chance "after" their first bounce and can only call chance 1 time per turn.
On your chance if you bounce it in your glass. You must pick who has to drink now and play continues.
When someone calls "Chance!" and misses their bounce into the cup. This results in a drinking penalty and that bouncer must drink.
The last person to drink their entire glass is the winner and those that have already finished their glass are eliminated.
